The ACT Sustainable Household Scheme

 

  • The Sustainable Household Scheme is a programme that has begun in the ACT.

    The scheme allows home owners to take on interest free finance for energy efficiency home improvements. By the time you pay this loan off, the amount of money saved on energy bills would have paid for most, if not all of the repayments and more.

    Services offered are:

    o Solar supply and installations

    o Battery storage and installations

    o Reverse cycle air conditioning supply and installations (heating & cooling). Both wall split systems and ducted units.

    o Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

    You can utilise the solar and battery storage installation and get yourself onto a virtual power plant, utilising the battery and energy sales contract, you can earn money by selling your power to the grid at peak times from your home battery system.
